Joshua Trees At Sunset
Oil on canvas, 9” x 12” Unframed
The simplicity of two Joshua Trees seemingly touching at sunset, carries more meaning as these trees represent the timeliness of survival in the harshest of conditions.
Oil on 16” x 20” canvas, 24.5” x 28” framed
There’s a sensuality and romance about this piece, as it represents the feminine in nature and how nature and humans can be in tuned with one another on life’s journey. The female form here is of no single race, but of nature itself. The leaf at center is from beech trees also called “Queen Mother of the Woods”. The Guitar is about how music relates to nature—how rhythm and being in tuned with nature and with each other are so important. It also represents how making music can be aligned with the music nature provides us.
